A guy named Jim H lives near here and is always testifying at Arlington County meetings about bad interactions with bikes & scooters. GIve that man a Protected Bike Lane so he can walk in peace.

Suggestion
Please remove parking from this bridge as it is never used and convert the bike lanes into protected bike lanes.

Suggestion
A cross walk near the intersection of 36th street would be helpful. The parking is rarely used so removing it in favor of a bike lane with physical barriers for the bikes and pedestrians would be helpful.

Suggestion
3 way stop here would be messy and confusing. it's already impossible to see past the trees when coming from the fcc onto the bridge and I can't see people actually stopping on the bridge for a stop sign---making pedestrians falsely confident of safety. however, there is no safe way to get from one side of the bridge to the other on the s fairlington side as a pedestrian --- no crosswalk, eg. the same is true at the other end with a preschool right there.

Suggestion
Please don't add speed bumps. I walk this bridge nearly every day and drive it once or twice a week and haven't noticed speeding. The road is wide and cars are yards away from the sidewalks. It wouldn't hurt to remove parking and add dedicated bike lanes.

Suggestion
Would be great if speed bumps could be added after the bridge here. People fly over the bridge, very dangerous for those of us who love here.

Suggestion
3 way stop sign here.

Suggestion
A 3 way stop sign needs to be placed at the intersection of S. Abingdon St, 36th St S, and 34th St S. to slow traffic and make road crossings safer for pedestrians and cyclists. Cars blow across this bridge. There is no crosswalk to get across Abingdon to 36th Rd. S.

Suggestion
A raised crosswalk should be added across from the STEM preschool to allow families to safely cross and slow traffic in both directions. The speeding on the bridge is dangerous.

Suggestion
A three way, all stop, stop sighs need to be added at the intersection of Abingdon, 34th, and 36th streets. This would slow traffic coming downhill to the bridge and enhance pedestrian safety, especially for the parents walking kids to the preschool and elementary school on the other side of the bridge. The speeding of all vehicles is dangerous.

Suggestion
This is both an important pedestrian and vehicular connection. Parking should be eliminated and replaced with wider walk/bike paths, including a barrier between vehicles and bikes/pedestrians. Vehicular speeding is a problem.

Biking this close to speeding cars is very uncomfortable, especially for elementary-age kids!

Cars speed here as it's basically downhill from everywhere.

This parking is basically never used.
