Suggestion
Please add a sidewalk along the railroad-track side of Potomac Avenue. It is extremely unsafe with all of the construction and trying to walk north. In 2018 with all of the construction from the new buildings it was not possible to walk north along Routh 1. The only way was to walk along Potomac Ave and there are no sidewalks. If more buildings will be constructed there needs to be a safe route for pedestrians to walk into Crystal City and access Metro.
In addition, is there any way to convert the old overpass over Four Mile River (adjacent to Potomac Ave) into a community garden? It is full of overgrown vegetation and has a lot of potential as a public space.
I live in the Camden Potomac Yards apartments and work in Crystal City and sometimes in DC.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
